International Accreditation and Recognition

All our Partner Universities are listed with the UNESCO (United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization) International Association of Universities (www.unesco.org/iau) at the International Handbook of Universities and List of accredited Universities of the World, and other international directories, like e.g. in Germany with the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (KMK) of the Federal Republic of Germany at the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB), Bonn, Germany, for approval and recognition of international/foreign university/college credits, diplomas and degrees (Anerkennung auslaendischer Bildungsabschluesse www.anabin.de), or with the Commission of the Chambre Européenne of the Parlement Union Européenne (Brussels, Paris and Rome).

In accordance to the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education and Accreditation of non-European Union academic degrees in the European Region was adopted by the European Ministers of Education of the Bologna Process (The Europe Unit, Bologna 1999, Lisbon 2000, Prague 2001, Strasbourg 2002, Berlin 2003, Bergen 2005, London 2007, Leuven/Louvain-la-Neuve 2009) and the degrees got adequate recognition.

At the Prague European Higher Education Summit was further agreed and underlined the order of strengthen the important European dimensions of higher education. This concerns particularly modules, courses and degree curricula offered in partnership by institutions from different countries and leading to a recognized degree (Prague 2001). All recognized and accredited degrees from different countries as listed under the Bologna Agreement (EU) can be used legally without any additional approval.

The European Community and the United States of America have signed an agreement of cooperation in higher education.

Government Approval

London College for Higher Education is undergoing state accreditation procedure by the Ministry of Education in South America (Merosur) as an accredited transnational university.

All international study programs are charted and accredited by the Government (Ministry of Education) in the country of registration and campus. According to the "Education Reform Act 1988" and the "Further and Higher Education Act 1992", London College for Higher Education is authorized to issue higher certificates and diplomas. UNESCO Recommendation on the Recognition of Studies and Qualifications in Higher Education 1993.

To insure that all students who are educated at London College for Higher Education are given the best for their achievements of diploma or degree, we can help of needed legalization and authentication as proof of recognition by the Department of State or Secretary of State with Apostille. This service can be offered for all issued certificates, diplomas and degrees in the UK, the USA, the South Americas and the Emirates.

Education Credentials Evaluation

Education Agencies and Evaluators will provide credential evaluation service and professional assistance in interpreting the equivalency of LCHE education in terms of education at accredited institutions in the United States.

The Evaluation Process will prepare a thorough and professional credential evaluation by such research institute and member of those professional associations like the Association of International Educators (NAFSA), the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA), the American Evaluation Association (AEA) and the European Association of International Education (EAIE). They will verify the recognition of tertiary-level institutions by the Ministry of Education of the countries where the education was obtained. Further, they will evaluate foreign tertiary level credentials to establish U.S. university/college degree comparability. U.S. degree equivalence is based upon the content of the program, the number of years of full-time study and the perception of the degree in the home country.
