Bachelor of Business Administration

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) develops students for the role managers play in defining business problems, assessing information, considering alternatives, and choosing the best solution. Increasingly, businesses are reorienting their thinking, planning, and operations to capitalize on opportunities that exist in the world marketplace. Every phase of business is affected by this reorientation. For individuals with the appropriate skills, training, and interest, international business provides excellent career opportunities.

To prepare students for this decision-making role, the BBA has been designed to introduce the theory or principles that frame a wide range of problems or issues in each of the courses. The most current techniques or tools are applied to these theories to allow students to practice making decisions to solve a wide range of problems.

The capstone project is a culminating experience to the program beyond the required course work; it represents your ability to formulate a project and implement it from start to finish using a combination of your conceptual, technical and applied knowledge. What is a Capstone Project?

The student presents the capstone project at the university campus. A week of residence is mandatory at the end of the program. During that week, the defense and the graduation exercise take place.

Transfer Credits

The student may transfer all previously earned applicable credits from accredited universities into the program. These courses must not have been used to complete another degree and have a passing grade. All transferred hours must be from an accredited institution/school and be documented by an official sealed transcript. There is no limit to the number of transfer credits allowed, but under no circumstances may the capstone project credits be waived.
